Wondering about which seats are good for Lucinda Williams. Seems to be a small old venue.
Anyone every been to a concert in Macon, GA at the Capitol Theater?

Small old venue would be perfect for Lucinda Williams :-)
Sounds kind of intimate: http://local.yahoo.com/info-34863315-cox...ater-macon Get a table in front. I tried googling "Lucinda Williams spits when she sings" and came up empty.

I saw her at the Tabernacle in atlanta several years back and it was a good small venue with general admission, which was great because we stood up front right by the stage.
I don't go to large venue concerts anymore.

BTW I figured out that there's another performer at DMB caravan I'd like to see:
http://www.dmbcaravan.com/amos-lee/ Been hearing this song a lot on the radio and would be happy to hear it twice again each time (see video link). This guy would make a great double bill with Lucinda-- they manage to make country seem like a good thing. Haven't checked out his other stuff but will do so now.

Amos is great. I think he and Lucinda are double billing it at some larger venues.
She was with the Jayhawks when I saw her (very good) and they are playing your event.

But don't expect to enjoy the concert. Unfortunately I've had some recent experiences in small venues that were ruined by bizarre overamplification.
