The first place I thought of is Current. I think my wife bought stuff from them a while back. Not sure why (or for that matter if) she stopped.
From whom do you order your stationery?

I considered vistaprint when my local place went out of business.
I ordered office stationary with the office logo and matching envelopes. Lifetime supply. But there were a few thrown in generic cards that could be easily personalized for graduations or any holiday and still looked " professional". They are long gone. I just run to CVS as much as I despise buying cards. ( and they are getting horribly expensive and the choices are dwindling too it seems)

For general note cards for the company, I went with vistaprint.com. Designed some cute "thank you" for the front and general info for the back and designed it all on a big postcard. It's glossy on the outside and matte on the inside for easy writing. To use, we grab one, fold it in half and write. We picked up some proper sized envelopes at the local Xpedx. It was a pretty simple way to go.
For my personal notes, I still have stock of cards I had done years ago by my local printer (now out of business). Simple design on nice cardstock and a simple "Mac-A-Matic" printed on the front of the card. Sadly, my printer is out of business (probably because people like me started using VistaPrint.com, ironically enough). I've been thinking about going to a local letterpress printer to have some personal custom work done but still have yet to get around to it.

Thanks all. I'm not looking for a source for something custom but rather a source for nice but low cost in bulk. If I found a nice, clean, simple stationery with a "W" on it (for Wailer for example), I'd like to buy 1000 of them with envelopes. Then I'd never really have to run out and get a card.
I'll try a Big Lots or Dollar store when I'm nearby. I think we have a Xpedx near us and I found "clearance" stationery there before for really cheap. Not sure where they moved or if they too went OOB. |
