Local news names

Was just watching the local news on a channel I don't normally watch. There was a Brian Formica which I thought was amusing. It's so "newsy". But he was outdone by one Liz Palka. Why is that funny? This is one of those news channels that has the reporter's email address under their name. So hers was lpalka@whatevernews.com.

I needed a good chuckle this evening.
