need Treo *unlocked* replacement - HP, RIM, SDA ?

on T-Mobile service. need to replace the Treo 600 with something a bit more robust (durable) and explore the possibility of life outside of the Palm OS family. any suggestions? price is a consideration, but not the only one.

I've got the Blackberry 8700 on T Mobile. It's been great. Call quality is excellent. The screen quality is very good. The bluetooth for headset/car kit connection seems to work better than either Nokia or Motorola.

Downsides so far are that there is no voice dialing and you can't use bluetooth to transfer files (either direction). I like that it doesn't have a camera. Many of my clients prohibit cameras inside their facilities, so I no longer have to leave the phone in my car.
