iPad start up problem
#1
I recently bought an iPad 2 for my wife and it has performed beautifully. However, it wouldn't start up today when she tried it ... it shows the circular start up icon (for lack of a better term) and doesn't go beyond that. We've tried holding the power key down to see if it would turn off but it has no effect. Can someone help?

Hold the Home button (main button on bottom) and the top button together for as long as it takes to see the Apple logo again, and then release and let it boot.

See if that works.

It doesn't happen very often, but once in a while you will need to perform that reset function if things seem a little sluggish, frozen, etc.

After all, it is a computer. They might be magical, but that doesn't mean they are immune. : )
