Windows 8, anyone?

I downloaded the 32bit Developer Preview & tried 5 times to install it in VirtualBox 4.1.2 without success.

The 1st time it got to 14% then stopped. There was no CD (ISO) or disk activity at all.
I trashed it all & started over & it got to 12% then stopped.
The 3rd attempt stopped at 1%.

I burn the ISO to a DVD & it stopped at 66%. I force quit VirtualBox, trashed the files, restarted the Mac & tried it for the 5th time. Now it has stopped at 90%.

It looks to me as though this developers preview isn't quite ready for prime time. I'll give it another try if Oracle comes out with an update for VirtualBox. At least I still have Windows 7.

I finally got it up & running with Parallels 7.
I dig the kinder, gentler blue screen of death. It reminds me of the sad Mac from the last century.
