RIP: Charles "Hammer" Napier

While he has been in a TON of movies, I'll always remember him from my childhood as BJ and the Bear heavy, Hammer.

My most oft-quoted and adapted line from any movie is his from the Blues Brothers, after Jake is trying to bluff him for some money:

"You're gonna look pretty funny tryin' to eat corn on the cob with no f***in' teeth!"

Love it!

RIP Charles "Tucker McElroy" Napier

incredible list of credits and variety of roles.

Charles Napier wrote:
"I always felt I played myself or some kind of version of myself," Napier told the Bakersfield Californian earlier this year. "If you think about it, old actors probably don't even have a self."

A great character actor.

I wonder what's the longest time he's ever been without work, or even if there was such a time.
