Sam,

ICal will do it but it doesn't offer much customization, i.e. lined space. For example, I like having lines in the space for each day rather than just a blank space. It forces me to write a bit more legibly (not that you can read my handwriting in the first place) and allows me to make better use of said space. Typically, I end up just buying a calendar with lined space. But, iCal does the job for basic quick and dirty calendars.

I think you can print customized calendars with either NeoOffice or OpenOffice.Org.
Both were free when I downloaded them.

Thanks. Didn't know iCal printed out calendars. Will also look at NeoOffice.

For years I've used iCal to print out my monthly calendars (yearly). I've added all my special events (Birthdays, etc.) to iCal so they carry over automatically from year to year. Don't know how else I'd keep tabs on all our special events. And the monthly iCal calendars have enough room for each day to write in other data. But I gotta say I rarely view iCal on my computer during the year - I just use the paper printout.

If you want "fancy", for $49 you can get BusyCal. I believe you can try before you buy. LyleH
