I've been using dyndns.org for about five years now - no problems, free and easy.

About a year ago dyndns started a policy of having you validate your account every few months - basically, they email you and you have to click a link. Easy.

my old D-Link router supports all of them, but I never used this feature. I am now installing Tomato and I still need to check which is supported.

looks like I will give DynDNS a try.
