I'm trying to replicate the system featured here, not from an aesthetic standpoint but from a functionality standpoint.

It looks to me like they're using 1-1.5" pipe and a few flanges for the ceiling and floor. But the question is, what do you call these things that support the shelves?

It looks like a sleeve or a collar of some sort, and it's held in place with a hex set screw. My shelves are just for an oddly configured laundry room, so they don't need to carry a heavy load. Can anyone tell me what that piece that supports the shelf is called? Is it available at BBS like Home Depot, or more specialty stores only (Grainger, online, etc)
