Today at the Mothership
#1
We were over in the valley and decided to go to the big Apple Store at the Apple campus.

We drove around a while, looking for a parking spot, and finally found one.

I got out of the car, admiring the car we'd parked next to. When I noticed the sign at their spot, I had to take a picture (I enlarged the sign for easier viewing).

LOL, Racer- Wyler's.

Geeeze, I haven't heard that name in like forever.

My mom would buy Kool-Aid (we even had a pitcher like in the picture) but Gram would buy Wyler's.

"It's the exact same thing and it's cheaper!"

Foil packs if I remember. Anyway, I never liked it.

Their commercials stunk.

Yes, in fact, my stepmother did make me drink Wylers...

but sadly my reason for being in the area was a visit to see mom-in-law at Stanford Med Center. So in a sense I was checking in on the "mothership". It was also the first time I had seen Mrs Markintosh in 2 weeks. A trip to the Apple store just was not happening yesterday.

I do appreciate the nationalistic nudge. Smile
