All Romney needs now...

Is Iowa and Wisconsin or Ohio or Pennsylvania, and he has it sewn up. I can't see that NOT happening, frankly.

Why is this poll more accurate than the one two weeks ago? The people who were so easily swayed by one debate still have to get through two more of them. Why are we assuming Obama will shed more states?

Because he has been shedding states for more than a week now. I thought that the change was temporary but it's not. It seems that the people in the border states were just looking for an excuse to dump Obama.

I think it's too soon to panic. I haven't trusted Silver's over-exuberant numbers all summer, they looked positively nutty to me all along.

some good ads could change this trend, but they don't seem to have many.

personally, I've wanted to see an ad that has Flo and whomever (from the Clinton days) at a doctor's office, slide their Ryancare voucher card through the machine only to be told they're over the limit for their rationed care. if i were a producer, i'd make the damned thing.

I feel sure he will carry NC. I live in NC and we had a family reunion yesterday and although politics didn't
come up much I'd have to say quite few family members have blinders on. Also every person we've dealt with
that's in business for themselves are so dead set against Obama it isn't funny. One guy says his business
is so busy that he can't find the time to do anything else but then in the next sentence Obama has destroyed
the entire country and the economy, go figure.

yes it's as if the economy can't possibly be recovering as long as Obama is in office. his mere presence means the country is going downhill.
