I'm pretty intrigued with this little camera.
I know I shouldn't spend the money, but… any comments on the value here? I've read a number of reviews that seem mostly favorable. I wonder how long I have to decide GeneL

Time is money. This seems more practical to me for family use with the smaller time investment.

The Amazon reviews were promising, but I just don't think it can replace a regular DV cam. Price is really good, $900 new at Amazon. It is a spiffy little thing though.

I thought it over and as much as I would like to buy it (gadget freak that I am), I figure I don't really need it.
We have a nice little 3 CCD Panasonic that I've gotten tired of using, anyway. I haven't done well with iMovie and I'm too frustrated with my G5's problems right now to do much of anything. I do love my new Macally IceKey, though. Puts the original Mac keyboard to shame. As I always say, "that's just my opinion, I could be wrong." GeneL |
