Nobody likes bad publicity, especially on an item like an electric car. BTW, I'd love to have a Leaf.

I did win my arbitration with Nissan and I'm going to give it back to them on Tuesday. Even after the decision they kept dragging their feet. They waited 10 days after the decision to finally accept it, then they tried to short change me (they said I had only been making the minimum payments, while I had actually been over-paying so I'd get out of debt quicker). Then I had to wait for one thing or another for another 2 weeks.

Meanwhile all the good deals for the replacement car I had been looking at ended 10/31. I guess I'll try public transportation (and Car2Go) for the next month or two and hope for a new deal.

Just a note on the arbitrator. In his final decision, he presented the "facts" he used to decide the case. He had almost no grasp of what was said in the arbitration, and his positions were almost the opposite of what was actually said. And I'm saying this as the guy that won, Nissan cannot be happy with this guy at all.
