Just saying that 16GB isn't much in the grand scheme. you can't really compare servers to laptops - they are different tools for different purposes. the reason a server supports that much ram is running virtual machines. who would do that on a MBPR? in the grand scheme, 16GB is a good amount of RAM for a portable computer. 32GB would be better; are there any companies making laptops that support that? |
