[TV] video and audio out of sync
#1
back in good old days of analog television I rarely noticed the video and audio being out of sync. Once digital TV came around, seems like more and more often I notice video and audio out of sync, you look at pople's lips and the words are half second ahead (an behind) the audio.

drives me crazy.

That's usually a cabling problem.

Do you use a receiver or a soundbar?

Many TVs have a quick-fix for that. Check your television's menus for lip-sync settings.

NBC right?
we use to watch L&O and see out of sync on camera cuts. That's just down right lazy post.
But NBC has bad OTA sync issues at times.
But if you see it consistently, it could be your rcvr if you have one hooked to the TV or your cable provider.

OTA, too.
Sometimes when its just a 30 second ad it is comical almost.

same here, cabtel straight into TV. yes, NBC but also on other channels as well. And it is not consistent, sometimes it is OK sometimes not.
