App window too high. Can't reach top bar to drag down
#1
I have a FileMaker (10) window that is too high on my screen. I can't see the top of the window, thus can't reach the part to drag to put it into correct position. Relaunch the program even restart the Mac don't help. Any ideas? How can I move this Window down to see all of it?

Can you change the resolution of the monitor and make everything smaller, that might help.

Actually, I bet making the resolution smaller (i.e., 640x480) forces the window to a correct location, and then either you can adjust it then, or change back and it may reset to a proper location.

Did you try dragging by the side of the window? I think that in some apps that works.

Changing the resolution to a variety of choices didn't help. Can't drag on either side or bottom of the window. But, I figured it out. In the Window menu I chose Tile Vertically and that popped it down. Thanks.

You could try these suggestions

Click on the window with the titlebar problem and go to Window menu and scroll to Zoom. That will often do the trick.
