Of course bugging typewriters was set to a fine art in the good old days of the Cold War, or reading typewriter ribbons, etc..

I regret getting rid of mom's old manual typewriter.

It was so convenient - set the case down, flip it open, and start typing.

Garage sales. They're all over the place. My son has an east german portable (NO idea how the original owner got it ecret: ). He likes playing with it every now and then.

Me.. I pull out a candle, the parchament paper, and the calligraphy pens. At least twice a year to write the obligatory love poem for my wonderful wife on Valentine's Day and our Anniversary.
