Yes, very basic design temp switch for the radiator fan. It only turns on when the car gets hot. The other fan is for the AC and should only turn on when the AC is on.

1999 Solara this year. It turned out to be the control unit inside the car. Not an inexpensive fix. But since my Solara is my baby (250,000 mi) I chose to replace it. About six months ago and it is still working hard down here in Florida.
