Why do I need a juicer?
#21
My understanding that juicing without the pulp is for people on a diet to give their colon a rest. Probably in hand with a colon cleansing program. I don't buy into colon cleansing, but that's what I've heard about the purpose of juicers that separate the pulp.

Don't want diabetes from juicing? Use high-sugar fruits and veggies sparingly. To say that someone got diabetes from juicing is disingenuous. They got diabetes from juicing too much of the wrong stuff. Like just about anything else, moderation is they key.

IMHO, juicing shouldn't completely replace veggies or fruit in a diet; it's only a pleasant supplement or occasional alternative.

We use lots of kale, cukes, peppers, lettuces, and lemon, lime, and ginger. Supplement with a little apple, carrot, or orange. Tastes good and is especially nice to use up all the extra stuff from the garden.
