OWC hasn't substantially dropped the price of their drives in at least a year.

RZ,

Very true. It's disheartening because the prices of competing products with a similar level of quality (and assuming reliability) are definitely coming down in price at a much greater rate. Admittedly, I paid the higher price because I wanted OWC's drives are more Mac-centric and I also felt their quality and support made the expense worthwhile. But, the difference is more significant than it was before and I don't know if the mac-centric aspects of the OWC drives are as important now as they it was previously.

Black Friday SSD* prediction: 256GB $140ish; 120/128GB perhaps $60.
*Quality 6G drives, not refurbs or 'house brands'.
