Nice story. Coincidentally, last time we ate at Olive Garden there was a young couple eating. The male was in fatigues and combat boots. We anonymously picked up their check.

Perhaps BUT, when you're stuck in an airport, especially late at night, getting a freshly prepared meal is better than sitting hungry. My hat is off both, to those servicemen and, to the Olive Garden manager who went above and beyond.
