Tried to get 5S at Apple store this A.M.

They only had two ATT 64 GIG in the dark grey, so I passed.

Two ladies behind me, immediately wanted them, but when they ran their credit card, guy says I cant sell you this phone, as you have bought too many already.

Whats the profit in buying a phone, with contract,,, can they sell it for more?

My kid also tried to get a 5s at the Apple store this a.m...

"Four to five DAYS?" she was incredulous. I asked her if she really needed any of the new features. Nope. Fingerprint lock? Naaah, rarely uses passcode.

So she got a 5 for a hundred less, and she's happy. So's her mom who gets her old iPhone (first "non-flip phone"= she means her first smart phone ...ever).

They are probably receptionists or office managers for a large office and have a number of employees that need new phones. Business orders are on the backseat and aren't shipping for a while, so if you want one quickly they have to get them from Apple.

i didn't know you could still buy the 5.
