God speed! I hope you're staying longer than just the weekend. That's a long haul for anyone, especially with a little one! How many flight changes?

Not going anywhere. But it's supposed to be nice here on Thursday, albeit a bit cool (mid 60's).

Going for a week, so yes, a few extra days just for good measure.

Enroute as we speak Asheville to nj. Usually go up 81 through Va Wv etc. but we're going up 95 to avoid ice & snow. About 2 hours longer but. O worries except for traffic.

All coming here ... two oldest grandkids (13, 8) traveling almost 5 miles - two youngest grandkids (3 and 5) traveling about 20 miles. Parents are coming with them. It's good to have family close by!

Spitting rain and occasional flurries today with freezing tonight. Thursday should be safe.

Driving to my parents in Wisconsin several years ago, the timing belt broke just 50 miles into the trip so we spent all day at a dealer getting that repaired. Finally got underway for the 10 hour drive and ran into snow as we passed Madison. Had 6 inches on the ground and one lane traffic on the interstate by the time we got there 50 miles north of Madison. Fun trip after we got there but arduous getting there! Fortunately, we'd started on Wed so the repair folks were open!
