Yeah, this is Athens. The sheriff has had so many law suits against the department and himself personally over the last few years that he will only communicate through his Facebook posts. It's a strange situation. Political intimidation, misspent funds, personal vendettas, nepotism, etc. Several charges brought by the state's Attorney General have stuck, but he still wins reelection.
