The study found that Seahawks fans are much more clumsy than Broncos fans, with 26% of Bronocs backers having reported a cell phone accident in the past 12 months compared to just 16% of Broncos fans.

I cannot think of a reason why this would be true. Huh

Well, perhaps the reason is that Bronco fans are more careful than Bronco backers... Or the backers are more physically active than the fans, or ...

With the "Make a down, Take a toke" competition running for both home state fans, they'll probably forget where they put their iPhone, so it'll be safe. (Watch out for the drunks, though. They can turn nasty as the game progresses.)
