Internet connection in Thailand
#1
My brother will be a tourist in Thailand for the next two weeks starting this coming Monday. He wants to be able to communicate sporadically home from there. He's told that the dial-up is expensive and slow. Does anyone here have any knowledge or experience to share? I suppose he can always fall on the tourist's guide.

Don't if this will help any, but it's a start:

There are tens of thousands of broadband internet cafes there.

Most hotels have free or low cost broadband for guests.

It's more advanced in that respect than the USA.

Nothing to worry about.
