My home folder shows a bunch of greyed out folders
#1
Any idea why my home folder would look like this? None of my other computers looks like this. Just my iMac.

Did you install the 10.9.3 update? If so, your problem could be related to this problem: http://appleinsider.com/articles/14/05/1...a-terminal

Someone tried to drag the contents of the library folder to the root of your user folder and then hit cancel?

Have you been messing around with permissions in Terminal?

Has this persisted though a restart?

Reboot?
Have you repaired permissions? I know that you're not supposed to need to do that, but your folders also aren't supposed to look like that.

I agree with C(-)ris. Generally, greyed out folders are signs of a failed or aborted copy.

I have not changed permissions using the terminal. I have tried rebooting and I have tried repairing permissions. So are those folders not supposed to be in that location at all?
