Happy Constitution Day

For those Norwegians among us. Special this year as it marks the 200th anniversary of the third oldest constitution in the world still in continuous force. We are in Halden for a few days and joined in the fun this morning.

Last year I was fortunate to have been able to witness the 17th of May parade in Ballard (Seattle )

Plus it was a beautiful sunny day. ( unless you were up with the sun for a sunrise shot, then you got wet )

I will do a bit more detail about our trip when I get home next weekend. We love Scandinavia and return whenever we can.

We went to a little ceremony that our county seat and the local SofN lodge put on every year.
For those in the greater L.A. area, ceremony this evening in San Pedro @ the sjomannskirken and tomorrow @ Nansen Field.
