Amazon S3 Question
#1
Does anyone have an Amazon S3 account they use? I played with it last night. Created a bucket and uploaded one picture to it (3MB). Then I made it public and got the address to it and opened it in my browser. This morning I look and I have 2 cents worth of charges. I don't think I can afford 2 cents for every picture I put on there. The charge is all on S3, not data transfer or anything else. Will each picture be like 2 cents a month?

PS. Happy Birthday JJ!

Convoluted pricing. Why not just use a free image host?

Sorry, the point isn't to host some images there. I guess I didn't make that clear. I was just using an image as a test to throw up on there.

And I did read that page beforehand. Perhaps I"m only going to see like 3 cents up to the first 5GB but even a small file is going to trigger some charges.

In the end my plan is to use it for my owncloud install. I'm tired of greedy companies having their hands on my data.
