Help To Identify Old Basement Window Hardware?
#1
The basement screen and outside windows in my 1920s house pop out, swapping them from warm to cold season. I have re-painted many of the screens and windows this year, and am now getting around to bead blasting the old hardware which holds the windows on. After this, of course, it came to me that perhaps I should explore stainless steel or other more modern fasteners. However, I don't know what they are called.

Here is a picture of the hardware. Any help identifying
the non-square nail or wood screw stuff? Recommendations on a source for quality fasteners like these?

the row of butterfly tabs on the bottom were used to hold screens in here for the Summer.

the square cut nail were used to hold old windows on hinges back against the frame instead of sash locks here. Driven in about one third of the way so they could be pulled out and pushed back in by hand. See the rust likely from the damper wood.
Sash locks were for windows that got opened a lot. Usually just upstairs, although it may have been convenient for the window that got opened to fill a coal bin in the basement might have a sash lock.
