As a Nikon user, does it bother you at all how quickly Nikon tends to roll out new models?

It seems like they obsolete older models pretty quickly in favor of minor spec updates. It seems like they debut a new FF camera every couple of months.

Maybe that is just my perception as a Canon user, as Canon tends to do the opposite.

I know I am comparing Apples and Nikons here, but look at Mac Mini, aren't we tired of waiting for updates? if they update a product too fast, we complain, if they update it too slow, we also complain. first world problems Smile
I am not complaining. I have older tech and I'm fine with it. I am just wondering about people's perceptions, that's all. I think the DSLR market has pretty much matured, which makes it strange to me that Nikon's strategy is to introduce more models and newer camera lines, at an even faster pace. It can't be sustainable.

It seems counter to what should be happening. 7 years ago, I ached for updates and each update had substantial improvements. Now, the returns are diminishing yet Nikon is updating more often. I have a D800 and the D810 did not move me much other than the 4 frame per second to 5 frame per second would help a tad. In the D750, I would give up the 12mp from the D800 to get 6fps shooting speed. I have mixed feelings on the D750 articulated LCD screen.
