In other news - Bose Soundlink III sounds great...
#1
... even if it is Bluetooth. I tried a dinky iHome first and took it back. Really crap sound. Bose is stupid expensive but they had a return that was still as new for 20% off. Now I got decent tunes in the bat room where I can listen to jazz while I soak in a hot bathtub after mud wrestling, or I can take it out on the deck whilst enjoying my little slice of nature. Battery is supposed to last 8 hours. It's big enough to sound pretty good but small enough to put in a backpack. I did a side by side with the Mini Soundlink which also sounds pretty good considering its small size, but was limited in volume before it started distorting.

Now if they could fix the art in Remote...

I own the Soundlink II and have been very happy with it. I use it when traveling as I like to have my music even in a hotel room.

All of the reviews I've read say that the third model is better sounding than the second and has better battery life. It seems like a solid win but I do wish they would include a sub output port.

Soundlink II

Sounlink III, very attractive
