Anyone else having problems with Scrabble on iPad/iPhone?
#1
A couple of days ago I started having a problem with Scrabble on both my iPad and iPhone giving me a message saying "Network Error - There seems to be a problem connecting to Facebook. You may experience reduced functionality as a result." Both are running the latest iOS. I have accessed Facebook from Safari and using the iOS Facebook app with no problem. I emailed a Scrabble opponent in UK and she is having a similar problem. I do not know what device she is playing on.

Are any of you having this problem?

The only problem I've ever had with Scrabble was that it used non-existent words. I deleted it out of frustration.

Raz - maybe you are using the British dictionary. I discovered that was the case for me. Kind of tough when playing a Brit.

They have some known issues. They've been talking about it on their Facebook page.

We are investigating the issues with connecting to Facebook. While we diagnose and fix the issue you can continue to play games vs. random opponents, against the computer and pass n’ play matches.

To disable the 'Network Error' popup while we investigate you can go to OPTIONS -> Facebook Log Out.

Hello everyone. Mobile versions of Scrabble are still experiencing connectivity issues with Facebook. The issue started following an update to the Facebook Connect tool. We've identified a fix and are working on implementing it, however this will require an update to the Scrabble app, which will take time.

We will provide an update when the service is back up and running. The issue is limited to users who log into the mobile game using Facebook, and does not impact players who log into the game with their EA Origin account or play anonymously.

We are very sorry for this inconvenience.

Hello everyone. Scrabble for Google Play has been updated with the fix to the Facebook connect issue. You can download the latest version in the Google Play store now. We're continuing to work the iOS and Amazon versions. Thank you again for your patience.

Tell you what... I'll put it back on and report some of the non-words.
