Perhaps true but the original blazed the trail to make the new version possible. Without the original I doubt the NDT version or anything similar would have been developed. Even so, the original Cosmos was applying a proven formula to a different subject. The originator of the concept of Kenneth Clarke with his Civilisation.

Liked the Original version, but I loved the newer one, just stunning music and visuals. I listen to NDT weekly. He's friendly and genial, but not quite as funny as he thinks he is, but usually has a funny partner.
