ever replace a MBP 13 keyboard ?

I need to replace one in my 2009 model. I've seen the videos and I tore this thing down before when the water spilled onto this but did not get to the keyboard level.
I bought one on ebay and it came with the backlight, but it's used. have you reused a backlight? any tricks to installing one after the keyboard is screwed down?

I've done top cases.

In general, keyboard-replacements are done as top case replacements.

I replaced a backlight once - what a pita. Make DAMNED sure that you're using one from an identical model.
