Help me identify this font?

It's pretty close to Times New Roman, but just a little more clipped...

This site helps.... sometimes. Uploaded your picture file and it had five possible fonts. https://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/
Also http://www.identifont.com/ it works better with a larger selection of letters to compare with.

No luck... It's weird how it can be so close to so many basic fonts!
