I enjoyed that.
Thank you.

I worked as a part-time specialist just like the person in the article for 3.5 years. My experience mirrors what is stated in the article. I really enjoyed my time with the company and only left because I started a new full-time job that supplanted the part-time job at Apple and my old full-time job.
Best way to get your foot in the door is to know someone that already works there but you have to back it up with the ability to do the job.

Sounds underpaid to me. I hope they do make that considering how many people they bail out of trouble.

" Genius' don't make that much money"

Id get a job there for the medical benefits... and 6 interviews sounds crazy.
The level of training described is impressive. You probably get less than 2 hours at any other retailer.

A Genius job will barely cover rent and transportation in a decent-sized city. A two-income household is a necessity in that situation. (Or move back in with your parents.) Trading favors for food quickly becomes a habit.

(Roughly 50k a year) That's enough to live on your own if you live in the outer boroughs. http://www.glassdoor.com/Salaries/mac-ge...KO0,10.htm |
