That's sucks. At this point, you need to contact Best Buy about the situation and have them resolve it. They created this problem. It's their responsibility to fix it. Good luck!

Good luck with having the average person install and configure Kodi on supported hardware. Here in the forum, no doubt many can and some will do it. Most? They'll just buy a plain ol' streaming box like a Roku. Will the average person put together a Kodi based system? Highly unlikely.

That was a response to Paul. It was not directed to your experience as it did not apply.

However, I do wonder why you didn't factory reset the HDTV once you noticed the problem. That's what I do. I want to be able to enable/disable all the features I need, which seems like it would have also solved your Netflix problem. Did you notice other settings were configured as well after the repair? Since the TV thought it was a different unit at that point.

Silvarios - Thanks for the reminder. Probably should do that. My concern is more with the person who gets my old board however.

Shoot, never thought about that. If the old board is operational, that would stink. How about deactivating all devices with Netflix and then reactivating? Do you have a lot of devices? That could be a pain. I think I have 9 right now associated with Netflix.

I find Roku to be so vastly superior than anything on the smart TV or BD player that I never use anything else. Even managed to finally teach wife how to handle 3 remotes (which for some reason seem easier to her than using Harmony).

I do like the Roku experience, even if I wish the older Roku 2 XD/XS gave access to Netflix profiles.

I just sold my two Chromecasts because I prefer the Roku and similar device experience a bit more.

I don't use my smart TV features at all at this point. Even though it would be nice since the little 22" HDTV in the bedroom was picked because it could save space while offering access roughly to the same content. Oh well.

It doesn't unless there was a recent update. Not even the newer Roku 1, Roku 2, and Roku MHL stick support profiles. Thew new Roku 2, that's really a Roku 3 without the fancy remote supports profiles.
