How delete Word 11 expired trial?

I have Office X (10) installed and working.
When I try to set it as the program to open Word docs it keeps reverting to Word 11 (expired trial). How do I clear the Word 11 stuff off the drive so docs will open in Word 10?

You should just be able to drag the folder that contains the Word Trial (be careful that it doesn't have your Office install in it) to the trash from your Applications folder and be done with it.

Did that and in my user library threw out the Microsoft Preferences.
But When I do a Git Info on a .doc, and try to set Word 10 as the application to open with, it reverts to open with word 11 (default).

Oops, never mind. now it's doing like it should.
