metal epoxy for pot metal

well, one part pot metal, the other stainless.

threads at one end of this no longer hold the top handle.

1) Contact manufacturier. Worst they can say is "nope."
2) Try a cold weld, like JB Weld.
3) New pot!

I'm presuming there's no viable way to re-tap the threads.

nah, I wouldn't buy a new pot over that, I'll gaffer tape that sucker before I spend $20 for a pot that is, otherwise, in excellent shape.

If it isn't corroded inside of the handle, just about any "metal" rated epoxy should work.
