2.5" enclosures from amazon
#1
Thanks to Gareth's tip on the Curial sale @ Amazon, I will be getting a cheapie 240 ssd, that will be used for reading more than writing data.
I will be placing the order with this enclosure, just because. Yet, I'd appreciate any suggestions... Prime preferred.
Thanks!

try to find one with UASP, that seems to be important in some cases.

I got this one, works OK, it was a little cheaper back then

I've been using this Sabrent. It is only USB2 but for my basic needs it was enough and at $6.99 Prime shipped, the price was great.

I have two of the plastic Inateks, UASP (because it was there), and USB3 because the mini is USB3.

The Inateck ka linked to is all of the above, save it's aluminum, and I really do like Al enclosures, so I'm in for one, for now.

A big plus, it uses a USB3 type A connector.

Next month, I'm not letting any of you talk me into another deal.

We all know that's not true, eh?

You are NOT helping!

LOL!

Yes, I like Al cases, and I thought that with that USB0C case, as long as my 'Book was charged, the power cable could double as the data cable, in a pinch.

And it was borderline exquisite.

But I remain strong. Next month will be gadget/tool free.

Ka,

I bought that enclosure and promptly returned it. Poor build quality. Drive wasn't held in place well. Definitely not worth even $16.99.
