This was probably on the forum at some point, but for a while there was at tone circulating among teens that no one over twenty could hear. Could be used for "silently" ringing their cellphone, and none of the adults would notice. I sure couldn't hear it.

My students did that to me! They couldn't believe I couldn't hear it.

Pretty soon a dozen of them were playing the "Over 40" ringtone. The 18-25 yr olds were covering their ears and yelling to turn it down, and I was smiling in blissful silence.
