So, here's a question: are there benchmarks showing the performance difference between the
Aura 6G 480GB SSD
and the
Aura Pro 6G 480GB SSD ?

Wondering if Pro is worth $85 more.

Holy Cow! Lots of cool stuff this time around. Man, I wish I had the cash to buy this stuff, install it and play with it.

Update: contacted OWC and they are unclear about why the Pro has no benchmarks on the product page. Hopefully they'll get some up soon.

Edit: mild annoyance re: Garage Sale 'original prices' - these are frequently inaccurate, and give the sales items a 'more discounted' appearance than is actually the case. For example, in the Garage Sale version of the Aura 6G 480GB bundle, the 'original price' is listed as $399.99. This bundle currently retails new at OWC for $249.99. Huh

Perhaps by "original" they mean "retail"?

What they mean is "the highest price we ever charged for this." But it's still a smelly business practice.

That's actually not the intent - we do try to keep the compare prices up to date with the current. Some items are older though and the last mspr is out of whack with time, etc. none the less. and thanks - will note a run through on next month for any missed, etc.
