.....they've been remaking 'live action' movies for their classic animations [ 'The Jungle Book' live action seemed to do really well ]......

.....the latest.....live action remake of 'Beauty and the Beast'.....with new music to boot....


....Disney this morning released a teaser for its live-action remake of the smash 1991 animated musical Beauty and the Beast. The new film retains the Alan Menken/Howard Ashman/Tim Rice score and stars Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, Luke Evans, Kevin Kline, Josh Gad, Ewan McGregor, Stanley Tucci, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Audra McDonald with Ian McKellen and Emma Thompson. Bill Condon directs. Producers are David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman; exec producers are Jeffrey Silver, Thomas Schumacher and Don Hahn. U.S. release date is March 17, 2017. Disney says the new film stays “true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs.”...

And will have to CGI/Animate those characters. But in a live action situation, with mostly animation. Wonderful.
