Just as with copper wrist bracelets there's no evidence to back claims of any kind of health benefit beyond trace copper elements possibly creating an environment that is not conducive to supporting some bacterial colonies.
How much copper does to eliminate body odor and how much the stench of copper masks is relatively unclear.

Yeah, it's possible the optimum amount of copper just might help with bacteria if manufactured correctly, but I don't think these guys are the ones who are going to do it.
