"Ecuador says it cut WikiLeaks founder's internet over US election interference"
#1
Ecuador has confirmed that it cut off internet access to Julian Assange, the founder of the whistleblowing site WikiLeaks, stating it believed he was using it to interfere in the US presidential election.
...
The statement also reaffirmed the asylum granted to Assange and reiterated its intention “to safeguard his life and physical integrity until he reaches a safe place”.

I call upon the GOP to release all election-related emails to the public. After all, I am sure they have nothing to hide.

Yes, this is a tongue-in-cheek B-b-but Trump deflection. However, without those emails, we really nave no standard by which to compare the Clinton emails. Normal operating procedure or unprecedented immoral manipulation? You be the judge.

This is probably why while Trump campaign and AM radio keep reminding us about the emails, most career politicians on all sides are avoiding eye contact.

I'm personally suspicious about Wikileaks' deliberate timing. It does taste like manipulation. The problem with 'open information' is that it is also completely open to being manipulated with forgeries and propaganda.

I'm sure any emails that might be potentially flattering, demonstrating outstanding statesmanship or other admiral qualities will come out as well. Eventually. When the time is right. If there are any.

Another thought. Most of this inner-workings stuff, even the more dubious things, we do hear about eventually. It's usually in a tell-all memoir that gets a headline or two; the herd looks up...then goes back to chomping the grass.

As Acer mentioned, most of election crap is just that - CRAP.

These October surprises aren't. If by this point in October you still don't know who you'll vote for - you're an idiot and there is no known excuse for your idiocy.

This sort of stupidity, that's the only explanation available, more or less explains why we have a problem with basic education - that we no longer do it.

If you have money your kids get educated, if you don't they don't. Odd part is how many of the prejudiced educated kids end up stupid enough to support derTrumpenfuhrer, far too many.
