yeah, I got the email about it yesterday. I think I've finally given up on in-store "deals" that require a rebate. Office Max and Best Buy have almost completely abandoned rebates. I hope chumpUSA follows suit.

in the past CompUSA rebates have had many issues. ..they updated the process and the new system seems to get the thumbs up by many. . .

While the new system is an improvement, it still took nearly 2 months for me to get two of their eRebates. Add to that the fact that both rebates were on the same it, submitted at the same time, and the larger rebate took an extra 2 weeks to arrive in my mailbox.
I won't buy anything with a ChumpUSA rebate unless it's "given at the register."

If you're willing to deal with the rebates, good prices on a Gateway 19" monitor, and on Winblows XP home edition upgrade--$50.

The two closest stores to me are 40 miles away each.
Both suck.
Everything with sale prices still on them are from last week, which they don't honor at the register.
Anything in a flyer or supposedly in stock according to web site, isn't any where to be found in the store.
No sense calling ahead, either.
Yes men answer phone.
No men at store.
