iphone 6s question - Headphone audio stops working until reset

Am I the only one this is happening to ? Every now and then my 6s gets... confused. And the headphone jack just refuses to work. Usually when using Waze and Siri and Music out of the headphone jack to the aux input in my car. And a hard reset is the only thing that fixes it. Not hardware, not debris. Just software.

....if you get the iPhone 7.....no headphone jack, so this won't happen.....

Which iOS? Maybe Apple is getting trying to get people used to Bluetooth.
