Turn you old mac mini into an electric guitar

Or just buy this one... Looks entirely unplayable, but points for style! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Custom-Mac-Mini-...2074173020

Those strings look like they're about a half an inch up where they meet the mini.

I'm gonna venture a guess that whoever put that together knows NOTHING about building an actual guitar.

Looks like a YouTube project gone awry. There are things cigar boxes are better suited for.

Couple of people I know have built surprisingly good cigar box guitars, electric and acoustic. One guy built a dozen or so for a local folk festival last year and sold them all for $75 ea in a few hours. Cost for each was under $10 and averaged an hour and a half each, built in batches. On a per hour basis he does better than I do building "real" guitars. A pox on 'im!

Some cigar boxes are made from nice mahogany, not easy to find the big ones, though.

There's a company near here that makes oilcan guitars, and they sound pretty good. Jeff Beck played one on his last album/tour (although he could probably make a 1975 Cort from Sears sound good). I don't care for the size of the necks they source for them, but that's pure personal preference.

Now this Mac Mini guitar... that one miiiight have a few action issues...
